Jeri Yoshida is founder and president of Yosh Communications, a marketing communications agency for the mortgage industry.

Jeri’s journey in the industry spans more decades than she’s willing to disclose.

In the past vague number of decades, Jeri has become known as an expert in marketing strategy, inclusive marketing, branding, content marketing, email marketing, and public relations.

Some of our founder’s career highlights include:

💪 As a marketing consultant, helped dozens of companies gain the visibility and positioning that enabled them to grow their brands, optimize EBITDA, expand customer bases, secure outside investment, and achieve target acquisition goals.

📰 As publicist, achieved hundreds of placements in trade and consumer publications, and even landed one client on the front page of the New York Times. Yes, the front page

🏆 Learned the business as a mortgage loan originator fresh out of undergrad, and won LO of the month within her first few months.

💰 As an in-house senior marketing executive, created and implemented the marketing strategy that positioned the company to achieve its goal of acquisition in just two years.

❤️ As co-founder of NEXT Mortgage Events, created one of the industry’s most beloved brands from the ground up, and established the first technology summit for high-ranking women executives in the mortgage industry.

🗣️ A Way with Words

Jeri isn’t just a mortgage marketing strategist.

She’s a published writer with both staff and freelance experience as a journalist and a graduate degree in writing. She’s also an ace editor.

FACTOID: A staffer at Mortgage Banking magazine said a profile that Jeri wrote “just might be the best article we’ve ever published in this magazine, ever.”

FACTOID: In addition to being the founder’s nickname, Yosh is slang for “cool” in Japanese.
